Copper roof birdhouses
Copper naturally begins to tarnish when exposed to air.  This will, over time, eventually lead to a beautiful green patina.  If you prefer to maintain the copper's "new penny" look, spray with one of many commercially available lacquers such as Watco Clear Lacquer.
